Class Descriptions
Hatha Yoga:
A classical Hatha yoga class focused on centering and grounding the self, remembering the self, in order to cultivate true awareness and mindfull presence in all we do. This class integrates movement, stillness, breath and meditation. Hatha Yoga is taught by Raices Y Brazos founder Peter Domecq.

Prana Flow is an energetic, creative, full-spectrum approach to embodying the flow of yoga cultivated by Shiva Rea and the Global Vinyasa Collective of Teachers. Students of all levels are empowered to experience prana – the universal source of breath, life-energy and conscious intelligence – as the navigating source of yoga practice and vital living. Practitioners learn classical and innovative approaches to vinyasa yoga and the state of flow drawn from Krishnamacharya’s teachings, and Robin’s teaching experience from the last 8 years.
Kundalini Yoga:
Kundalini was brought to the West in 1969 by Yoga Bhajan. Its power comes from the Kundalini, an enormous reserve of untapped potential within each of us. It is normally depicted as a coiled or sleeping serpent, located in an area towards the back of the spine. By gradually and safely awakening this serpent and employing its power, you will benefit greatly from an elevation in consciousness, promotion of physical well-being and an expansion of awareness. You will feel more relaxed and at ease with yourself.
Pilates & Yoga:
A union of Pilates and Yoga focusing on correct breath, alignment and movement to strengthen your body and your mind generating balance and harmony within you.
The Breath Wave Experience:
The Breath Wave Experience is a complete introduction and full guided
session of conscious breathing. Beginning with an intention meditation
and leading into a journey of breath, music and toning the Breath Wave
Experience is designed to teach participants a tool they can take home
to apply in their daily lives, creating greater physical health,
vitality, mental clarity and a clear connection with our higher self.

Guided Meditation:
Guided by transpersonal psychologist Claudia Sanchez, this meditation utilizes visualizations, symbols of transformation and relaxation to make contact with your higher self. Through conscious breathing and focus on love, compassion, light and gratitude, self healing and planetary healing occurs as the pineal gland is activated.
Art Collective:
The art collective is an invitation to the community to come together and explore creativity in a group setting. Individuals may work on their own projects or collaborate and create something together. This space is held in the courtyard of Raices Y Brazos.
Music Circle:
The music circle is an invitation for the community to come together and explore the soundscapes. A number of instruments are available at the center and you are encouraged to bring your own. Depending on who is present, this circle may be facilitated or may be open form.
